1. What is the Sculpting Pack all about and how it can facilitates in the delivery of the Creative Curriculum.

SUPERHERO or VILLIAN Sculpting pack

Key objectives is to promote healthy eating by creating imaginative conceptual character designs, this will include educating new sculpting techniques, developing new design skills & story telling. (See diagram to see other areas of the creative curriculum you could incorporate with this particular product)

(Please note there is one rule! Your superhero must be created from various fruits & vegetables or your villain must be created from junk foods.)

2. Background information about the sculpting pack and why I decide to develop such a product.

The idea started initially as a healthy eating connecting toy in 2003, however in 2007 Dean did an after school club and since then he has been working within the curriculum as an art & design consultant with schools & the public sector across Leicestershire.

With consultation with various heads throughout Melton Mowbray Leicestershire we have been encouraged that this particular concept lends itself to become an educational product for both staff & pupils from primary schools. This product will constantly be reviewed to make it the most effective educational art & design tool on the market!

Dean believes his business Dean The Art Wizard has the capacity to inspire children & teaching staff to use their imagination through storytelling, character design and other art disciplines. Dean believes this product will lead to multitudes of new literacy, story boarding and animations products throughout the creative curriculum.

6. Sculpting Pack CPD

The aim of the day will be for your staff member to be confident in creating simple human form sculpture techniques. These new skills can then be passed on to other staff members who could in turn pass them to key-stage 2 pupils ages 7-11.

The benefits of learning these key skills are that staff will learn different ways of creating human figurines based on different themes.

You will also learn the basic skills in animation &  an insight into future concept product launches

A training video will also be filmed on the day and this will be provided to all participants of this CPD day. This will be free of charge.

We require feedback on the day as we hope teachers' contributions to this CPD day will help them and us to evaluate the entire teaching and learning process.  Additional help and further feedback will be required once sculpture pack has been utilized by each school. 8. Terms and Conditions

Dean The Art Wizard relishes the opportunity to work with schools across the UK on creative curriculum projects.  However, Dean is based in Leicestershire and currently works a 100mile radius around the Midlands.

Dean is more than willing to deliver projects to schools further afield but he believes he has worked out how to assist schools with cost saving curriculum projects.

To make projects viable in areas outside the 100 miles radius, Dean has a number of options available to schools.

1.Creative Classes In A Box (Educational self-contained cost saving Creative Curriculum packs)

For Example Pack 1: (Healthy Eating Sculpting Pack 1) costs £295.00 this means this costs less than £10.00 per child for a class of 30 children. We estimate this product can be used for years and after the first year the only cost per child will be £4.00.

Other products being developed involve using recycled materials & this means schools will save even more money.

2.CPD (Training teachers to teach creative curriculum projects)

Dean is able to offer creative projects to clusters of schools and he is able to teach a number of teachers at the same time. (Schools are able to share costs for Dean to teach valuable creative lessons.  Just think how much money your schools will save if schools work together bringing professional artists/designers like Dean The Art Wizard to teach you CPD!
