School = Wreake Valley Community College, Ivanhoe College, King Edward (Specialist Science & Sport College) & Ignition
Objective = Encourage students to embrace all STEM subjects & invent ideas for National Science Week
Conclusion = I realise working with Ks 3 & Ks 4 students is to use me as a facilitator to assist students. They will make mistakes along the way but its important that they are encouraged to learn by making mistakes & developing their ideas into functional & practical outcomes.

Throughout 3 years working with the Ignition project Ks 3 & Ks 4 students have invented amazing science based ideas, such as DNA time lines, evolution time lines, board games such as Co-Operation which is similar to Operation but with a twist, murder mystery film, huge board game called Cures & Diseases including much more.

School = Ivanhoe Ignition
Objective = Out of Curriculum time I was asked to assist students create a animated film of a Jousting competition to celebrate the schools logo
Conclusion = This 1 day school workshop involved 22 students taking part in creating a scene of a knight in shining armour on his steed galloping whilst jousting. Students created all the imagery from recycled items & found objects. Finally the animation was a real learning curve for us all, as you can see what can be achieved to make a horse look like its galloping!
