School = Sherard Primary School Melton Mowbray Leicestershire

Objective = Create a recycled school mascot/sculpture which can be created & designed by the entire school.

Conclusion = This project was to symbolize each childs ‘Growth’ throughout their learning years at Sherard Primary School. This amazing sculpture was created during a period of 6 months, all Ks 2 pupils took part in small groups of 6, teachers helped with the design & children were taught how to create this amazing artwork from recycled glass, recycled metal, wire mesh, mod-rock and how to use glue guns.

School = Frisby CofE Primary School Melton Mowbray Leicestershire

Objective = The entire school created a recycled sculpture to represent the school (Frisby Fox)

Conclusion = With assistance of school staff we decided to create a fox sculpture, this sculpture was created using recycled metal & children were mixed into various year groups. Ks 2 pupils were given responsibilities to assist Ks 1 pupils attach plastic carrier bags, clothes pegs, plastic bottles & recycled plastic bottle tops.

School = The Grove Primary School Melton Mowbray Leicestershire

Objective = This project was of curriculum time and was all about working together & having fun!

Conclusion = This artwork/animation was one of my first large filmed pieces. 100 pupils took part during a morning session and we had great fun creating the school logo!

School = Belton CofE Primary Loughborough Leicestershire

Objective = Create a permanent glass mosaic created by Ks 2 pupils

Conclusion = Children learnt how to create a glass mosaic cabinet. This cabinet is now a permanent mosaic which can be remembered for years on after, children learnt how to create the cabinet using coloured glass beads & crystals. This was completed over a 4 day period & for the remaining day we created glass bead logo’s such Egyptians, Bears & Bumble Bees.
